An ongoing body of work made from a collection of photographs taken from 2024 in the neighborhoods and surroundings areas of Imphal region, exploring the mundane and the daily in a fragile and shifting place where conditions and circumstances have been shaping the ordinary lives of the people in the society.

I'm not interested in the glamour of it's sports nor it's noble associations, but the majestic and beautiful creature, and the people who devote their lives to their care, for them horses are not just mere tools but companions and family.There are no dramatic mountain backdrops or postcard moments waiting around every corner. Most days are quiet. Dry. Spread out. The work blends into the land in a way that feels almost invisible unless you slow down enough to notice it. These photographs were made on a working cattle ranch in rural Arizona. No staging. No recreations. Just day-to-day ranch life as it happens — early mornings, long distances, and a rhythm that hasn’t changed much because it doesn’t need to, shaped by the environment more than anything else. This series tries to explore the simple and mundane equestrian life in the ranch and around the paddocks of Manipur.

Dreams is a part of two personal photo series, parallel to “Identities”. Intended to be released upon completion in both book & print form as a limited print run. This part of the series explores and pictorialise what I could remember from my most vivid, intense, and memorable dreams that occurred / occurs to me during the REM phase, which is said to be the primary, deep-sleep stage.
